Waiting List Opening
April 16 – May 11, 2018
The Boise City/Ada County Housing Authority (BCACHA) will begin accepting pre-applications for placement on the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) waiting list. Pre-applications will be accepted online at www.bcacha.org beginning Monday, April 16, 2018 through Friday, May 11, 2018. No pre-applications will be accepted after this registration period.
After May 11, 2018, a lottery will be held to determine random placement on the waiting list. Only 2,500 names drawn will receive a place on the waiting list. Applicants not selected will have to reapply for assistance at another time. There is NO advantage to submitting an application on the first day, since all pre-applications have an equal chance of being drawn in the lottery.
